Matriculated.

A beautiful autumn midday. A good hundred young people gradually gathering in front of the big college building. A camera man fiddling with his devices, lists and names, dresses and gowns. Matriculation day.

While the first days at University have gone by in a flash, today, time seems to have slowed down a bit. The moment of becoming an official student again has come. This is such a weird feeling- after having had a full time "job", I am challenging my brain again with thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, maths, programming and business sciences. Diving deep into the world of engineering.
But today it's not about that. Today it's about aligning in a row of people, sorted by surname, trying not to trip at the group-photo-pedestal and, of course, smiling.

Besides all these formalities, I am doing great- still. I am in love with this town, it's special vibe and most of all -it's people. While everyone is from different parts of the world and focusses on different matters of study, it feels like people speak the same language. In fact, studying seems to be a secondary activity behind all the possibilities to connect, exchange and get active in one of the thousand societies (student clubs around specific activities/themes/interests). Cambridge is just an infinite number of interconnections and cross links between societies, organisations and students and its incredibly easy to get lost in this maze. I myself am getting more and more involved in the Cambridge entrepreneurial scene, trying to enrich it with more social impacts. But more on that later.

And now, some colours for the eye:
