An so, the story continues.
Wow, how many days/months/years has it been since I last filled this space with letters, music and colours? It seems like decades...Let's do a short recap, shall we?
After completing my bachelors degree in Biotechnology I ended up founding a social organisation, Über den Tellerrand kochen (have a look here: ueberdentellerrand.org) which aims to improve the integration of refugees in Germany in 2013- more information to follow in a later post. Being a busy "social entrepreneur" the days went past in a rush, with weeks full of work totally outbalanced by an uncountable amount of joyful moments when seeing how one can actually make this world better place, at least for some hundred people. Given the current development of the refugee topic, our work is becoming more essential to society than ever. But more of that later...
And now?
I find myself sitting in front of an empty page trying to figure out what comes next. I am leaving Über den Tellerrand kochen to some extremely talented and motivated bunch of people. I have a new chapter to open as I am going on a another journey. This time it is a very challenging one and I am not quite sure if it will highly benefit or completely destroy me- I am going to study at the University of Cambridge, UK and I am going to find out.
The fun part, is that I am going to share my experiences in this blog again and you might just as well get some pictures :)
So much for the news.
